We have 8 days until we start the drive to Georgia. It is about a 13 hour drive and my sister, my nephew, and my son are joining me to help Rob start is adventure of a lifetime.
He has all the post offices documented for me to send off the MRE refills and the dates to get it delivered by. Each post office will hold packages for the AT travelers for about a week. Rob is adamant that he will stick to his schedule.
He is nervous, scared, excited, and trying to ensure all his ducks are in a row before he is off. We have the gps working and tested it out so I can verify he is on track.
Swinging back to a previous post, we labeled his pack to help identify the things he is bringing. Excited to be able to be part of his fantastic adventure (without me actually having to do it...lol).
